I’ve enjoyed an active lifestyle since I was a young adult. I really got into fitness after having my second and last baby. That was over 3o years ago!

I always thought that I would continue the exercise routines that I had fallen in love with. I pictured myself growing old and feeling good and staying healthy.

Life has a way of getting in the way, however. An accident resulting in a severe whiplash injury and serious concussion changed all of that. I had to modify my workouts and compensate for constant neck pain.

After a car accident that resulted in yet another whiplash injury, my neck got progressively worse. In a short time, my neck seized up completely. I couldn’t turn it at all! I had to turn my entire body to look from side-to-side. The constant aching and pain were, at times, almost unbearable. Chiropractic visits, acupuncture treatments, physical therapy and even prescription muscle relaxants did little or no good. On top of that, I began to experience extreme muscle pain and weakness, along with stiffness. It was common to feel like I had been “hit by a bus” upon arising every morning.

An MRI revealed 3 degenerative discs in my neck. I was told that there was nothing that could be done. I was, also, told that I shouldn’t be in as much pain as I was in and was I just in there for attention? Oh…and would I care for some anti-depressants?

I fired my MD and told him that before he ever decided again how much pain someone should be in, perhaps he should experience the pain of degenerative discs, personally, before deciding how much a patient should or should not hurt!

Another doctor helped out with a cortisone shot that was short-lived. After receiving a diagnosis of osteoporosis a year later, I decided to actively look for a better nutritional program.  Thankfully, a friend introduced me to this complete nutritional program!  I began to be able to turn my head in about ten days after beginning the program. (That was a little over a year ago!) In that length of time, I’ve regained almost complete mobility in my neck and the muscle pain and stiffness has receded significantly, in spite of receiving two more whiplash injuries during this past year! Best thing of all, I sleep well and I have hope, once again! I am living my life instead of simply existing!
